Early Childhood Teacher (Full-Time)

Description

Bethel Child Development Center is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Teacher for our infants through elementary school students.

Hours

• Monday through Friday, between 6 am and 6 pm (specific hours determined at hiring)

Responsibilities

• Able to exhibit self-control, and uphold Christian values while in a leadership position

• Plan and implement activities that promote the social, physical, intellectual, and Christian growth in the children

• Follow and implement a structured curriculum

• Communicate in a professional manner with child’s parent/guardian

• Maintain a clean, orderly classroom

• Keep accurate up-to-date student records

• With patience and care, provide support to all children equally

• Attend and participate in staff meetings, center events, and parent/family events

• Additional duties discussed during hiring
  

Qualifications

• Possess a High School diploma or GED

• Age 18 years or older

• Lead teacher, at least one-year experience working with children

• Ability to lift 40 pounds, stay on feet for 95% of the day, and assume low level postures (bend, stoop, kneel) for physical activity with children
